The Love of Jesus

SCRIPTURE
John 15:9a NIV As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you...

NUGGET
Jesus loves us. When life gets complicated and painful, this is the promise we can’t afford to lose sight of because all of God’s promises are rooted in His love for us. Promises of His presence, His comfort, provision and strength. It’s His love that is moving in our behalf. Sometimes we think we’re going backward in our faith journey when we go back to the basics. But that’s a lie. The Bible tells us to come to Him as a little child. So go before Him, humble and trusting, in your time of need.

ACTIVATION
Pour out your heart to God. Don’t hold anything back. Don’t worry about trying to figure anything out. Be comforted by His unending and lavish love for you.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for showing me Your great love through Christ Jesus. I bring to You the mess, pain and chaos in my life and I simply ask You to help me as I trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
