Come Boldly

SCRIPTURE
Hebrews 4:16 NASB Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

NUGGET
Sometimes I think we forget who we are in Christ and even who God is when we ask Him for help. Discouragement from a struggle can make us feel small and, at the same time, cause us to forget that He is big, able and ready! As His children, we are invited to "come boldly" before Him. When we remember who we are in Him, we can come fearlessly, unashamed and boldly before the God of all providence and find help.

ACTIVATION
In your prayer time today, be deliberate about remembering that you are talking to the God of all might and majesty, and that He is your Father and you, His child. How does that change your interaction with Him?

PRAYER
Father, thank You for allowing me to come before You with boldness, with confidence! I am so grateful for the blood of Jesus that makes this possible. I am humbled before You and Your great kindness to me.
