Search Me, O Lord

SCRIPTURE
Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

NUGGET
There’s a beautiful surrender that happens when we humbly invite God to examine the secret places in our hearts. When we give Him permission to have His way in our lives, we experience true peace and joy that no earthly accomplishment or accolade can give!

ACTIVATION
Take some time to ask the Holy Spirit to examine the places in your heart and mind that only He can see. Ask that He would reveal any ulterior motives, hidden agendas or places you’ve struggled to hand over to Him. He is faithful to answer when we call on Him!

PRAYER
O Lord, come and have Your way in my life. You don’t need permission to examine my heart but I give it as a sign of surrender and ask that You would have Your way in every part of me.
