All Hands On Deck
SCRIPTURE
Luke 1:7, 30b-31 NIV 7 But they were childless because Elizabeth was not able to conceive, and they were both very old. 30 “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.
NUGGET
You’re never too old or too young to be used by God. In Luke 1 we see God use an old barren woman to birth John the Baptizer, and a young girl to birth the Savior of the world. Both were important for bringing God’s Kingdom, and neither were the “right” age. God loves to partner with His children, and you can’t age out of His divine assignments. Holy Spirit wants all hands on deck! Every person who follows Jesus needs to be listening for His voice and answering the invitations. The task He invites you into may not look like a previous season, but it is still significant. Partner with Holy Sprit. He wants to lock arms with you for His glory!
ACTIVATION
If you feel too old or too young, ask the Holy Spirit to give you His perspective. If He invites you to shift into a different kind of use or ministry, say yes.
PRAYER
Holy Spirit, I want to know what You are up to. Give me ears to hear and a heart that’s ready. Equip my hands and empower my spirit. Let’s do this together. In Jesus name, Amen.
