Just Show Up

SCRIPTURE
Romans 12:1 TPT Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

NUGGET
God wants a living sacrifice, not a dead one. This means that if you still have a pulse, you are an authorized living sacrifice to God. You don’t have to strive, just surrender whatever you have and offer it to Him. Doing laundry, wiping mouths, going to work, and dropping off kids at school seem like mundane tasks. But when they are offered unto the Lord, they become sacred acts of surrender and worship. Just show up. God has a way of showing off when we show up and offer what we’ve got.

ACTIVATION
Think about the various ways you can show up today. Don’t discount anything. Begin to see how even the little things are sacred offerings to God. How will you show up?

PRAYER
Thank You Jesus that Your power is made perfect even in weakness. No matter how mundane or ordinary my life feels right now, You are using and redeeming all of it. Thank You for inviting me to show up, and for shaping it into a beautiful act of worship.
