Goals With God
SCRIPTURE
Phil. 3:14 NASB I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
NUGGET
Embedded in the word “goal” is the word “go”. As we enter 2022, it’s my prayer that you’ll set goals with God. That way, as you run toward those goals, you’ll be running with God. You will go with God as you break new ground in 2022. Nothing is impossible with Him. And simultaneously, nothing is too tiny for God. Be aware of the God-goals He might whisper to you that seem insignificant. We often say “Go big or go home.” But that ends up knocking people completely out of their race. Instead, just go with God. Go wherever He leads. Go wherever He directs and wherever He opens doors for you. God can put the GO in your goals! So lean into His voice as you make plans for 2022.
ACTIVATION
Spend 10 minutes in silence today with a journal and pen. Ask the Lord what He wants to put on your “Go” list for 2022. Ask Him what He wants you to focus on. Listen for that one main thing. Then write it down and go for it!
PRAYER
Lord, I commit my time, energy, and heart to You this year. Lead, guide, strengthen, and empower my spirit. Anchor our connection even deeper. May this be a banner year of “Go”ing with God.
