Gratitude for the Not Yet

SCRIPTURE
Heb. 11:1 NLT Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

NUGGET
Have you ever asked God what His heart is for a certain city? Government? Or even your own family? Take a few moments to consider this. Begin to thank Him for the things that have not happened yet. Giving thanks for the not yet is anchored faith. It takes faith to give thanks in this way. But when we do, our words of thanksgiving partner with God’s words. It’s a significant way to call heaven to earth.

ACTIVATION
Take a few minutes to thank God for the “not yet”. Dream with Him and pray with the Holy Spirit today.

PRAYER
Holy Spirit, thank You for having a dream and vision for my city, family, and life. Talk to me about how You see my city. Show me Your ideal picture of my family. Reveal to me Your thoughts, even the deep things of God. As I encounter news today, show me what Your heart is about that particular subject. I want to partner with You through faith and giving thanks. Thank You for all the things that are going to come to pass.
