Anchored Gratitude
SCRIPTURE
Heb. 6:19 NASB This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,
NUGGET
Gratitude grows deep roots and gets anchored when we open our mouth and release it during difficult times. It takes faith to give thanks in difficulty, and it partners with God’s Kingdom and power. When this partnership takes place, it gives us a “no matter what” kind of faith. This kind of faith moves mountains. It is anchored deeply and securely.
ACTIVATION
Journal for 10 minutes today and thank God for anything and everything in your life. Gratitude begets more gratitude. You’ll actually train your brain to give thanks instead of complain.
PRAYER
Holy Spirit, You are my hope. My soul [mind, will, and emotions] are held fast and secure because of You. I partner with You today to speak life, goodness, and gratitude. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You (Psalm 19:14). In Jesus name, Amen.
